The tourism industry boasts revenue in excess of $61.4 billion,from 60,000 different companies that employ over 1.66 million Canadianscoast-to-coast.

According to the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC), forecastssuggest that between 2006 and 2015, 290,690 new jobs within the tourismindustry will have been created.

Centennial’s three-year Tourism Administration& Hospitality managementprogram admits students at three points throughout the year.Courses cover a full-range of business practices in marketing, human resources,finance and industry operations – as applied to the entire hospitality andtourism field.

You will gain valuable work experience through an individualized industryinternship that is designed to provide a practical foundation for your career.After graduation, many students continue on as full-time employees at theirinternship placements.

Admission Requirements Centennial College expects studentsapplying for admission to certificate or diploma programs to present at minimuman Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or be 19 years of ageor older. Possession of minimum admission requirements does not guaranteeadmission to the program.

Academic Requirements

Compulsory English 12C or U or skills assessment, or equivalent

The qualification requirements and costs for each external accreditation,designation, certification or recognition are set by the granting body and notby Centennial College. In order to qualify for any of those externalaccreditations, designations, certification or recognition, students andgraduates will need to follow the processes and meet the applicablerequirements listed on the websites and materials of those external bodies.
